Why Juice Fast?

First of all, why do we juice fast? People choose to juice fast for many reasons. One of the biggest reason people go on a juice fast is to cleanse their digestive system. People also juice fast for spiritual reasons.

It is time that we looked to another source for healing. Why are doctors prescribing prescriptions that only hurt us in the long run? Wouldn’t you think that Juice Fasting is safer then injecting yourself with or taking drugs? Yet each year, doctor-prescribed drugs kill more Americans than street drugs.

A juice fast will cleanse the body while supplying an increase of vitamins, minerals and enzymes, as toxins, built-up chemicals, fatty acids, cancer cells and diseases are all dramatically impacted and used. When you consume natural juices, you are consuming healing properties. Antioxidants attach themselves to toxins and will remove them from the body.

When you are consuming raw fruits and vegetables in juice form, you are consuming living enzymes, antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and photochemical agents. These raw juices will be low in calories to force the body to cannibalize on its toxics that are stored in your body. This will propel you to commendable health and clarity of mind.

How do we approach a juice fast?

First off, you should know that a juice fast is completely safe. Many people fear that they will starve and hurt their bodies in the process of a juice fast. Studies have shown that your body can survive without food for 75 days. Your body has been created by a glorious Maker who engineered the body to store vital nutrients in the liver and bone marrow.

Most people start with a 21-day juice fast. But the longer that you go on a juice fast, the more cleansing your body will receive. If you can manage past 21 days, I would recommend going on a 30-day juice fast. But never go longer than 40 days of fasting. For during a juice fast, the protein levels in the blood will remain constant. Although protein will be used, a person who is on a juice fast for 40 days will not suffer a deficiency of protein, minerals, vitamins or fatty acids.

Before you start a juice fast, do realize that this will not be a “walk in the park.” There will be times of crisis when you will want to give up because of the hunger pains or the temptations to eat solid food. When these temptations arise, be encouraged, for at those periods your body is burning up the toxins in your body.
